SolidWorks Intelligent Feature Technology (SWIFT), included in SolidWorks 2008, was honored as a technology that helps companies in the manufacturing industry to improve their business. SWIFT was named a Top 50 Technology because of its innovation, uniqueness, and functionality in the market.
SolidWorks 2008 is a NASA Tech Brief's "Product of the Year" Finalist for 2007
Over the course of a year, the editors of NASA Tech Briefs select one product each month that exhibits innovation, creativity, and a tremendous contribution to the engineering community. In 2007, SolidWorks 2008 was named the Product of the Month in August, qualifying it as a finalist for Product of the Year. After 12 products have been nominated, the readers of the publication choose which product has made the biggest impact to the engineering community.

Start-IT Magazine's "Company to Keep an Eye On" of 2007
The Start Magazine named SolidWorks a company to 'Keep an Eye On for making great strides in software development in the manufacturing area. This recognition is part of their Hottest Companies list, and companies included are "worth following to see where they will go." The editors chose SolidWorks based on revenue growth as well as other factors such as market share, segment leadership, breakthrough technology, and numbers of users.
Boston Business Journal's 2007 "Best Places to Work in Massachusetts"
In it's statewide program, Boston Business Journal has recognized SolidWorks in the list of the top fifty Best Places to Work in Massachusetts. The statewide awards program recognizes the company's achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of benefits, working conditions and company culture. SolidWorks has been recognized on this list since 2003.
