Title: Marketing Content Specialist—Part-Time Contract
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Job Description:
In the part time contract role of Marketing Content Specialist, you will be charged with producing compelling promotional content to differentiate and promote our products and services. Your content will be used in emails, e-books, datasheets, white papers, post cards, video scripts, website content, etc.
Responsibilities
• Creating, editing and revising copy for consistency, accuracy and effectiveness
• Adhering to brand, corporate, and legal standards, ensuring consistency
• Collaborating with members of other departments worldwide including: Sales, Product Development, R&D, and Marketing
• Applying effective project management skills
• Developing and managing project timelines
• Contributing to creative presentations and brainstorming sessions.
Education: Degree in Communications, Journalism, or English with a writing emphasis
Requirements:
• 5+ years of Marcom writing experience in the high-tech/software industry
• 3 +years of web content creation.
• Experience using web content management software.
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills
• Effective communication skills—written and verbal
• Able to develop and maintain productive relationships with colleagues and company leadership
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Presentation of online portfolio
