Tested Graphics Cards and Drivers

The quality and performance of SolidWorks can depend on the choice of graphics adapter and driver version. To help you avoid known issues, SolidWorks has tested commonly used graphics adapters and driver combinations. Note: SolidWorks only recommends the use of certified graphics card drivers.

Choose a video card or system vendor:

Choose whether to display Certified or Tested cards and click Show Passing or Show All

Certified (Recommended)

Tested (Not Recommended)

Select the system vendor (i.e. Dell, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, etc.) if the graphics card was shipped with the system. This is especially important for laptop systems as the graphics driver must come from the system vendor. If the graphics card was purchased independent of the system, then select the graphics card vendor.
Select the version of SolidWorks you are using.
Select your operating system.
For current selected options, select the card or vendor that matches your system.
